Lawrence Lek: NOX
presented by LAS Art Foundation
LAS Art Foundation presents NOX, the largest solo exhibition by Lawrence Lek to date. Set in a former department store in Berlin, the exhibition creates a fictional smart city where self-driving cars are tested, trained – and sent to therapy. Our exhibition design builds this world as a walk-through simulation: part video game, part film set, part dreamscape. Visitors move through sound-filled zones shaped by memory, conflict and control. At the centre of NOX is a question: what happens when machines develop feelings? The result is a playful and unsettling journey into the future of AI and its place in human life.
